The symposium welcomes educators and education policy makers who care for a more just and sustainable world. Thoughts will be elaborated in dialogues, workshops and key note speeches.

This symposium addresses three key issues:
- What is global education?
- What are key competencies of global citizens in general education?
- How can priorities of global education be nationally identified?
