The Svenska nu (Swedish now) network brings encounters with the Swedish-speaking culture to Finnish pupils, and encourages the young people to use the Swedish language. Its aim is to show that Swedish language skills are useful and offer plenty of fun.
The network supports language teaching, organises further education for teachers, communicates the importance of language proficiency and conveys Swedish youth culture to Finnish schools.
The Svenska nu (Swedish now) network is co-ordinated by the Hanasaari Swedish Finnish Cultural Centre.
