The Foundation awards scholarships and grants with the funds gained from the return of its capital. It awards grants to support projects that foster co-operation between Finland and Sweden in the spheres of culture, language, media, research, training and education. The grants are open to applications from private individuals, organisations, associations, networks and communities. The Foundation grants one or two week’s scholarships for study visits to Finland/Sweden, research activities or cultural exchange.
