Hanasaari’s by-laws indicate questions of business and industry as one of our key activity areas. The Hanaforum series and individual events discuss questions regarding labour markets, industry and trade.

In March 2008, for instance, Hanasaari organised a one-week discussion forum with Nordic and North-American executives that actively featured the significance of the Scandinavian social model for business and industry. Economic questions are naturally an important theme in Hanasaari’s programme activities, also from the perspective of establishing new networks across social sectors. Business and industry-related questions are discussed in the context of other activities, too – even in education, training and culture-related events.
