The congress hall Aleksis features an even floor and is versatile enough for many different types of events. Aleksis can be used as an adjoining room to the auditorium Astrid and it also works beautifully as an exhibition space.

Aleksis features a fixed data projector, professional simultaneous interpreting equipment and a variety of microphones.

Wireless broadband is available free of charge.

Our meeting rooms are named after Finnish and Swedish cultural personalities.

Aleksis Kivi (1834 – 1872)

Finnish national writer, playwright, poet, novelist, the creator of Finland's modern literary language. Kivi's major novel was SEITSEMÄN VELJESTÄ (1870, Seven Brothers, translated into English 1952 by Alex Matson). Kivi was the first professional writer publishing his works in Finnish. He died in poverty at the age of thirty-eight.
