Hotel Hanasaari is located in a beautiful seaside setting on the border between Helsinki and Espoo

Thanks to excellent connections, you are only a few minutes drive from the centre of Helsinki or Espoo by bus or car. Free parking is available for our guests.

A good night’s sleep, wholesome food and a warming sauna

The hotel rooms are calm and spacious, and Restaurant Johannes offers friendly and accommodating service. The hotel also has a relaxing sauna with a swimming pool. The sauna is available free of charge for hotel guests between 6.30 am and 10 am. Hanasaari is the right choice, whether you travel on business or leisure.

Hanasaari features free-of-charge wireless Internet access, available in the hotel rooms and the meeting premises.

Art is always close by in the Hanasaari Swedish-Finnish Cultural Centre. Take your time and enjoy the works of Nordic artists on display in Gallery Tove's seasonal exhibitions.

Outdoor activities

Hanasaari is located by the sea with magnificent maritime views towards the Baltic Sea and its archipelago. This is a unique environment that you can enjoy and explore on foot, perhaps trying out Nordic walking poles, or by just sitting quietly with a fishing rod. You can also cycle to the Helsinki city centre or to Tapiola, the modern garden city - all within a few kilometers' distance. The reception staff will be happy to lend you a bike, Nordic walking poles or a fishing rod.

(Bike pawn 50 €. The sum will be refunded in full when you return the bike. At the moment we have four bikes.)

Hanasaari is also an excellent location for bird watching. To help you get the most out of the surrounding environment, we have put together a guide, Hanaflora, that enables you to learn more about the vegetation in the area and to get to know the island and its beautiful nature.
