Helsinki Photo Festival Seminar

Helsinki Photo Festival, Hanaholmen Cultural Center and the Cultural Foundation for Sweden and Finland are organizing a seminar on Friday 27 August in connection with the fourth edition of the Helsinki Photo Festival. With focus on Nordic Photography, the seminar program includes presentations by distinguished visual artists, curators, photography teachers, authors and editors. 

The seminar is open to everyone. The language of the seminar is English.

Seminar speakers include Hannu Vanhanen (Backlight Photo Festival), Kristyna Müller (CFF – Centrum för fotografi), Pål Otnes (Forlaget Fotografi), Sigrún Alba Sigurðardóttir (Iceland University of Arts) and Fryd Frydendahl (Fatamorgana Photo School) and many more.  

The participation fee 50 euros covers seminar participation, lunch, and morning and afternoon coffee in the Hanaholmen restaurant Plats. The fee 15 euros covers only seminar participation.

During the Helsinki Photo Festival, the Art Park at Hanaholmen will host the Nordic Village, a talent platform fostered by Helsinki Photo Festival to support emerging Nordic artists. A Nordic photo exhibition will take place outdoors showcasing a group exposé of 15 Nordic photographers and a solo exhibition.

15 euros including seminar but not lunch or coffee
